The Goldendoodle is a designer dog created by crossbreeding a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. First widely bred in the 1990s, they are bred in three different sizes—each corresponding to the size of Poodle used as a parent. 1
They Shed Much Less Than a Golden Retriever
Goldendoodles often demonstrate Golden Retrievers' intuitive and human-oriented nature in addition to the intelligent personality and "allergy-friendly" coat of a Poodle.1
Macaroni Noodles @ 2 Months Old
Macaroni is a furnished F1 Goldendoodle. She is 50% Golden Retriever and 50% Standard Poodle, so she will be a low shedding large dog with wavy to curly hair. In this picture she is still sporting her puppy coat so we'll have to see how she end up looking in several months. I'm guessing long wavy hair that doesn't shed.
