If you haven't heard of a puppy guardian program before, click here to see how PetPlay describes it. As you can tell by the article referenced above, puppy guardian programs are not something we came up with ourselves. They are growing in popularity as ethical dog breeders seek to find even more and more ethical ways to breed their puppies. Here are some links to other puppy guardian programs from breeders in Australia, United States, New Zealand and the UK.. To find our more about our puppy and adult dog guardian programs, continue reading below. If you still have questions, call us. Our phone number is at the very top of the page.
There are many advantages of this program besides just being able to get an awesome dog for just a fraction of the price.
We currently have several puppies and dogs available for the guardian program .

Let's face it, designer dogs and/or champion purebred dorgs aren't cheap, but owning a Doodle or a Doodle parent through our Doodle Guardian Program (DGP), eliminates 80% of the upfront cost, and even gives the qualified guardian family a chance to make some money on each litter their guardian dog whelps! And, after their dog retires from our breeding program (after 4 litters for females and after 6 years of age for males), the dog is theirs to keep for free.
The guardian program allows us to grow our program and continue to better our breeds, without sacrificing any of our dogs’ happiness and need for love and attention. While we want to keep all of our dogs with us, we understand that they will be happier with more one on one attention than we can give them. By offering the guardian program, we are able to ensure that our dogs get to live the best possible lives in a loving, caring home where they receive as much one on one attention as possible.
Not everyone that lives in Thailand plans on being here for 10-15 years; the average lifespan of a dog. And relocating a family dog to a foreign country can be more expensive than many people can afford. Our guardian program is perfect for families that only plan on living in Thailand for a few years and that don't feel comfortable right now about making a 10-15 year long commitment to own a dog. It gives them the opportunity to live with a guardian dog for a few years as their own family pet, and then return the dog to our loving care when they return to their homes abroad. Naturally, if the Guardian family becomes so attached to the animal that they can't live without it when they leave, there are a number of options we can exercise to make it possible for them to take their beloved guardian dog home with them.

Sadly no. Only families that live in Phuket are eligible to participate in this program. Families that are willing to drive their guardian dog back to Phuket at required intervals may also be eligible. This is something that can be discussed, but in general we prefer our guardian dogs live close by.
You need to have already lived in Thailand for at least two years, with the intention to stay in Thailand for another three years. In special cases, we can make adjustments to the details of this requirement. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Yes, there are. If you meet the residency and location requirements, we can talk about the other requirements in person or via video chat to discuss those requirements. Unfortunately, if you don't meet the residency and location requirements, there isn't much to talk about.
You can save up to 80% of the puppy's initial price AND, if you keep and care for the puppy/dog until it has given birth to it's 4th litter of puppies, we will pay you 100% of the puppy's original sales price as a thank you for helping us expand and improve our breeding program.
